A Masterpiece Inspired by Sardinia
This exclusive car, named the Temerario ‘Porto Cervo’, was crafted for a private event in Sardinia and embodies the glamour of the Italian island. Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, stated that it illustrates the “virtually limitless potential” of their customization program.
The extraordinary finish is called Grigio Serget, a distinctive grey enriched with blue metallic flakes that create a captivating visual effect in sunlight. A dynamic pinstripe in Blu Royal accents the lower body and rear wing, while components like the front splitter and rear diffuser are finished in a black gloss carbon effect.
The Ad Personam Philosophy
The Ad Personam program is Lamborghini’s gateway to near-infinite customization, allowing owners to create a truly unique car. For the Temerario, this means access to:
- Over 400 body colors and special finishes.
- Extensive use of premium leather, Alcantara, and carbon fiber for the interior.
- Personalized embroidery, stitching, and bespoke interior accents.
More Than Just a Pretty Face: F1-Inspired Performance
Beneath its hand-painted shell, the Temerario is a technical tour de force. It is the successor to the Huracán and Lamborghini’s second High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV), featuring a groundbreaking hybrid powertrain.
Lamborghini Temerario Technical Specifications
| Engine | All-new 4.0L twin-turbo V8 + 3 electric motors |
|---|---|
| Total Power | 920 CV (approx. 907 hp) |
| 0-100 km/h | 2.7 seconds |
| Top Speed | 343 km/h |
| Redline | 10,000 rpm (unprecedented for a production turbo engine) |
The V8 engine was designed from scratch in Sant’Agata and draws direct inspiration from Formula 1 technology, particularly in its pursuit of extremely high revolutions. This focus makes it the first and only production supercar engine capable of reaching a 10,000 rpm redline. The hybrid system combines this engine with three electric motors—one integrated with the gearbox and two on the front axle—enabling all-wheel drive and instantaneous torque, a technological leap that mirrors the strategic shift away from V8s seen in other high-performance segments, such as BMW’s recent decision to streamline their luxury SUV lineup by removing the base V8 model.
Interior: A Bespoke Cabin
The custom theme continues inside the ‘Porto Cervo’ example. The cabin features a blend of Grigio Octans leather and Corsa Tex upholstery, contrasted with Blu Nethuns leather inserts and stitching. Unique embroidered profiles of the Temerario on the door panels and a carbon fiber steering wheel underscore its bespoke nature. This level of craftsmanship is made possible by Lamborghini’s expanded Selleria interior department, where 170 skilled artisans handcraft every interior.

The unique ‘Grigio Serget’ paint combines grey with blue flakes that emerge under sunlight, a finish that took two months to perfect.

💬 Curator’s Note
“Two months just for paint? This is the definition of bespoke luxury!”
Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program has always been about pushing boundaries, but spending 60 days perfecting a single paint job takes it to another level. This isn’t a production line; it’s a mobile art studio.
What fascinates me most:
• The incredible patience of master painters applying layer after layer
• How blue metallic flakes emerge only under specific light conditions
• That this level of customization exists for those who truly want something unique
In an era of mass production, this Temerario stands as a testament to old-world craftsmanship meeting cutting-edge supercar technology. For the owner, it’s not just transportation—it’s a wearable masterpiece.
